Hello again!

So it has been WAY too long since I have even touched this blog. Originally it started out as a way for my husband and I (although mostly me because we all know who the better writer is - sorry honey) to update far away friends and family on the happenings of our two children, Paige and Chase. Well that never happened. So I am giving it a second chance. Although I would like to change the URL, not that I don't like my daughter's name (I did pick that name with the help of the husband - thank you baby) but I don't want it to seem completely about her especially since we have Thing 2...I mean child number 2 added to the mix. If anyone knows how to change that, please enlighten me.

Now I would like to use this blog to still talk about things that are important to me; mainly my family, but I would also like to speak my mind (ha!) about other things or just be able to go off on random tangents about whatever I feel like and I know that the people reading this will be cool with that because they are my peeps and like me for who I am. So if you don't care then please don't read. I am not one of those people who air all my dirty laundry on social media sites for the world to see and for "friends" on those sites to wonder "I wonder what is going on there?" or "I wonder what happened?" or "Is she talking about me?" because that is not me at all and anyone that knows me can tell you that. I am more private when it comes to my personal life unless I really know you and trust you with my private details of my life. Anyway...see there I go off on a random tangent and if my husband was reading this he would say I am crazy and he is probably right. So I digress.

My goal is to just write about topics that are relevant to my life at the moment. Or topics that get people thinking and sometimes my own crazy opinions when I get into the mentality that I can solve all the problems in the world. I am thinking about food and wine, kids, cleaning, school, travel...you know...just life. But I am going to try to stay out of politics. That's not how I roll.

So enjoy if you decide to read what I have to say. I am not looking to change anyone's viewpoints. I am just trying something new because I have seen a few friends blog and I want to try. Who knows maybe it will lead to something?
